Since I started this blog called A Precarious Balance, I have only posted items pertaining to the business end of having a home-based business. This, of course, isn't very balanced. I have often asked myself why it is I'm doing what I'm doing. I don't sell on Etsy and do all this work of organizing and tracking inventory as well as everything else that needs to be tracked so that I can continue to acquire more inventory to track and organize!
So I thought a more fun post would be in order, showing more of the WHY side of things. Check this out:
My husband and I were able to take a road trip in early September which was funded completely by money earned from my business! It was very affirming and motivating to be able to do this and to enjoy the fruits of all my labor. We were blessed to visit our oldest daughter who lives in Montana and our youngest daughter in Colorado. As far as beautiful scenery, the highlight of the trip for me was our visit to Glacier National Park, currently my favorite place on the planet right now. So I thought I would share just a few photos from that part of our trip.

[We saw lots of Bighorn Sheep in Glacier, as well as an abundance of other wildlife.]
[Here is a photo of Clay and me up on Logan Pass in Glacier NP.]
[This is my daughter, Hannah and her boyfriend, Ryan who introduced us to this wonderful paradise.]
Since hiking happens to be one of my favorite things to do, I not only fell in love with the scenery at Glacier, but also the abundance of hiking trails, of which I only was able to hike a few. Glacier truly is a hiker's paradise and it's even better when you can share it with the people you love! Now THIS is why I do business!
How about you? Do you remember to keep the WHY in mind when you are working at your job or your business? What are your "whys"?
